About Me

I am a mechanical engineering student at the University of Kentucky. My career interests lie in the research and development of control systems in aerospace engineering. In my first internship, I gained experience in aerospace manufacturing at Barnes Aerospace. There I worked in the repair of jet engine high pressure turbine shrouds. During this experience, I learned about advanced manufacturing processes, including how to manage part defects, improve turnaround time, and how to perform process studies. At the University of Kentucky, I have been involved in research for over two years with the Autonomy, Robotics and Control Lab under Dr. Jesse Hoagg. During my time in the lab, I have developed a small fan-powered robotic satellite testbed. I have learned more about managing a project, communicating results, and working with others. I am looking forward to further experiences in the aerospace field.
